The assessment is designed to evaluate an applicant’s academic qualifications, professional competence, practical experience, and demonstrated expertise within their chosen discipline.

Assessment Structure
Stage 1 – Professional “Third-Party” Credential Verification (20%)

Applicants undergo verification of:

• Academic qualifications
• Professional certifications
• Curriculum Vitae (CV) or Professional Biography
• Professional experience
• Identity verification documentation

Purpose: To establish the applicant’s eligibility and verify the authenticity of all submitted credentials.

Stage 2 – Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Portfolio Assessment (40%)

Applicants demonstrate evidence of professional competence through the assessment of:

• Professional experience
• Leadership and managerial responsibilities
• Industry achievements
• Organisational contributions
• Professional development
• Evidence of applied knowledge within their discipline

Purpose: To evaluate knowledge, competence, and professional achievement acquired through practical experience.

Stage 3 – Applied Professional Case Study (40%)

Applicants submit a structured case study describing a significant project, organisational challenge, strategic initiative, or professional assignment they personally managed or contributed to.

The submission should demonstrate:

• Problem identification
• Professional analysis
• Solutions implemented
• Outcomes achieved
• Lessons learned
• Professional recommendations

Purpose: To assess the applicant’s ability to apply professional knowledge in real-world practice.

Assessment Process

1. Preliminary application review.
2. Submission of supporting documentation.
3. Payment of the Professional Credential Verification & Assessment Fee (Non-Refundable).
4. Independent verification of academic and professional credentials.
5. Completion of the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Assessment Questionnaire.
6. Submission of the Applied Professional Case Study.
7. Independent assessment by the Institute’s Assessment Panel.
8. Recommendation to the Governing Council for approval.
9. Upon approval and payment of the applicable Certification Fee, the Chartered designation is conferred.
