Entry requirements
To be considered for the CASS™ designation, applicants are expected to meet the following criteria:
Academic background
A bachelor's degree or advanced diploma in business administration, information technology, project management, or a closely related discipline from a recognised institution.
Professional experience
Around 2–5 years of relevant work in agile or scrum roles, covering responsibilities such as sprint facilitation, backlog management, team coaching and agile delivery.
Mode of assessment
Candidates are evaluated across several dimensions to confirm their readiness for the designation:
- Review of academic qualifications, focusing on coursework related to agile principles, project management and iterative delivery methodologies.
- Documentation of professional experience, including agile or scrum initiatives undertaken, accomplishments in improving team delivery, and their impact on organisational performance.
