Entry requirements

Education
A bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in insurance, risk management, business administration, or a related field, from a recognised institution. Advanced degrees or certifications in claims management may be preferred.
Professional experience
Significant experience in claims management roles within insurance companies, brokerage firms, or related organisations, typically ranging from 5 to 10 years or more.
Technical knowledge
A comprehensive understanding of insurance policies, coverage terms, claims processing procedures, regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Analytical skills
Demonstrated ability to analyse complex claims scenarios, assess liability and damages, and negotiate settlements fairly and equitably.

- Review of academic qualifications, professional certifications and continuing education courses related to claims management.
- Documentation of professional experience, including claims managed, settlements negotiated, and the outcomes achieved.
